Apparently, you got a pretty great hang on the concept of macabre. Just look on how you drew the character's outfit. I see that you paid close attention on designing the unique-looking outfit, wheter ther it would the macabre-typical pattern on the pantyhose or the lace-like decor at the bottom of the dress and the end of the sleeve. I see that you have demonstrated your style here quite well. The character's beaming expression fits nicely here (although slightly blank). The portraits and furniture help add the dark feel.

um... i'm more on the rainbow and butterflies kind of art so i'm not sure if i can be a better judge of it being macabrish
it looks dark though, gothic, i like her expression, blank ^_^ , exection sa shadings very well done hm... mejo sagad lang nga yung paa sa dulo ng drawing, tsaka yung sahig sana ibang texture sa dingding. para mas mag mukhang obvious na floor. ayun... anu pa.. yun lang ^___^ okay naman e di ko lang din alam ibigsabihin ng macabre kaya di kita matulungan gaano ^^:

I would say that this one look more like a gothic lolita art than a macabre art ^^. Ummm sorry founder
Indeed the details and shading are nicely done, in fact its pretty impressive but it lacks the mood and emotion that shows the very essence of macabre.
Probably adding some bizzare looking props would do the trick, like she's holding a jack in a box holding someones heart or she's hiding in a closet filled with broken dolls a private paradise.
