[By definition, nonbinary people are transgender, & nonbinary people can be transsexual. Don't try to alienate us with your "opinions".]
I see stamps saying that nonbinary and genderqueer individuals ~cant~ be transgender and that the definition of transgender doesn't apply to us nonbinary / genderqueer individuals.
I'm not sure why people are ignorant to the definitions of nonbinary / genderqueer & transgender.

Transgender : Transgender people have a gender identity or gender expression that differs from their assigned sex. Transgender people are sometimes called transsexual if they desire medical assistance to transition from one sex to another.

Nonbinary / Genderqueer : Catch-all category for gender identities that are not exclusively masculine or feminine‍—‌identities which are outside the gender binary and cisnormativity. Genderqueer people may express a combination of masculinity and femininity, or neither, in their gender expression.
(nonbinary is just another term for genderqueer)

So, if someone identifies as nonbinary / genderqueer, or a gender identity outside of the gender binary (male/female), and they don't identify as the sex they were assigned with at birth due to gender dysphoria, that apparently doesn't equal transgender. People and their ignorance..

Another thing, if you are a nonbinary / genderqueer individual and you have really bad gender dysphoria and want to change your body in some way medically to match your gender -- that makes you transsexual, however you don't have to go by that term, because that term isn't used as much nowadays.

If you were assigned female at birth...
and you are androgynous and want or have gotten your breasts removed to ease your dysphoria, you're transsexual
and you are masculine-leaning and want or have gotten your breasts removed and/or want to or have done HRT to ease your dysphoria, you're transsexual

(I don't know anything about the assigned male at birth area, since I was assigned female. I would imagine it would be similar to the assigned-female side, HRT and tucking is about all that I think would be needed, but some NB assigned-male individuals may want to get their penis removed, which is perfectly okay if it eases your dysphoria)

Regardless of what you've done medically to your own body, or if you haven't done anything medically to your body or don't want to, and you have gender dysphoria, you are trans in someway, do not let people tell you otherwise and still call you cis. stand up for yourself to rude people. kindly correct the people who misgender you accidentally. You don't have to give an explanation to your gender identity or educate other people, however don't be the rude one in the conversation.
