I love this drawing of Nicholson. You captured the full madness, but sinister nature of the character. Grinning and deadly. The exclusion of the rest of the body, even the top of the head was cleverly done. Without color, hat, clothes etc. you have a shaved headed escapee, from a lunatic asylum.
The lettering lets it down. Your portrayal of this Joker speaks for itself. You did not need the lettering. The freehand lettering is too wobbly and takes from the powerful impact, your stripped down serial killer would have had. I would like to see the same image done in illustrator without the lettering.
