“Ah..so you’re just gonna leave your parts all over the place? Alright.”

With a small huff, you picked up a piece of an endoskeleton arm that fell to the floor. Then you looked around your room, phone tightly in your grasp as you searched for wherever Mangle could have disappeared to.
To say they haven’t been a nuisance would be a blatant lie–because right now they were being an absolute pain.
Their parts kept scattering all over the room for some reason. And your shocker button was not working. You emailed the company about the issue, though all they said was that you were suppose to gather them and then wear the Freddy mask if the animatronic charged at you or went haywire.

The instructions were very confusing, but you eventually got the hang of it and did your best to focus on getting the parts, wearing the mask, and keeping a lookout for Mangle's static and voice.

Finally, you managed to get a third piece off the floor, and there was...total silence. No static appeared on your phone, and they were nowhere to be found.

Then you suddenly heard charging noises and spun around, seeing the de-cloak as they lunged at you with their jaws wide open--
Only for your phone to suddenly zap them with an electric shock, even though you didn't touch the button whatsoever. They stopped just mere inches away from you, convulsing from the shocks, before they collapsed to the floor, seemingly deactivated now.
You blinked in confusion, glancing at the endoskeleton parts you tossed onto your bed, and then back to the broken fox. “Huh, that was...an interesting encounter-"
“N-No..”
Noticing Mangle's yellow eyes flicker brightly, you stared at them, perplexed. "What?"
“YOU RUINED ME!!” They screeched, snapping their head up to glare at you. But their rage soon turned to sadness as they noticed the pieces of themselves on the bed. “Why...did you take me apart?" They asked accusingly.
“I wasn't trying to. These parts fell off while you were crawling all over the place." You explained, grabbing the parts before sitting down in front of them. "I wouldn't do that to you on purpose."
Come to think of it..during the encounter Mangle was very vocal about their distress over being dismantled. What happened to them at Kid’s Cove was obviously very traumatic for them--something no Toy animatronic should ever have to endure. So you couldn’t help but feel terrible as you gathered their missing parts.
“You’ve been through a lot, haven’t you?” You murmured, cautiously reaching your hand out to them.

As expected, they flinched, but when they realized your intentions they calmed down and leaned their head in. You gently rubbed their ear; even though it was hard plastic, the gesture seemed to be soothing to them as they relaxed and sighed sadly.
“More than you could possibly know. All I want is to feel whole again. Wh-Why is it so hard?”
“Maybe I could help with that?”
Blinking, Mangle glanced up at you, their eyes bright and hopeful as they saw you pick up one of their endoskeleton arms. "You would?"

"Of course," you chuckled. "Even though I can't...repair all of you, this is the least I could do." You stuck it onto the joint on the torso's shoulder joint, before taking one of their hands and connecting it to the wrist joint.

They looked at you in stunned silence, but deep down...they were grateful you so happened to be the one they were delivered to.

Finally, they found someone who wanted to put them back together.
