"You gotta be fucking kidding me..."

You walked out of your room, exhausted after having difficulties editing your last video for the day and getting it uploaded to your YouTube channel. Now you wanted nothing more than to relax with the others and watch some Netflix.

But as soon as you entered the living room, you came across not one, but five toddler-sized egos.

As if dealing with one wasn't enough...

Upon hearing you sigh, all of the egos stopped what they were doing and looked your way.

Chase was sitting on the sofa, showing Anti what appeared to be some fidget spinner. Jackieboy Man was on top of the furniture, looking down at the toy with wide, fixated eyes. And, finally, Henrik was sitting in a separate chair, looking rather grouchy about the situation at hand and curled up in his lab coat. Though when he saw you his expression softened a bit.

"A-Ah...gutentag, [y/n]."

"Henrik...what the hell happened?"

"Vell..um..." He trailed off, rubbing the back of his neck. "Ve seem to be-"

You put your hand up to stop him, sighing a bit. "Never mind. Where's Marvin? Because we need him to fix this right-"

"I..I'm over here.."

Turning around, you saw the young magician sitting in the corner of the room with his spellbook in his hands. You sighed and walked over to him, crouching down, but when you got a closer look....that's when you realized the torn pieces of paper scattered around him, which he was trying to pick up.

"Marvin? What happened?"

"I-I messed up...again..." Marvin sighed. "A-Anti tore up the page that would reverse this spell.."

"Anti?" You glared back at the tiny demon, who was smirking as he fiddled with his knife. "Anti what would you do that?!"

Anti looked up at you, blinking slowly, before shrugging his shoulders. "Eh, just for fun."

""For fun"? Is that it?!" Marvin fumed. "Magic is not something to play around with, Anti! You're lucky I can fix the page, but because of you it's gonna take quite some time."

"Ya know...I wouldn't be surprised if ya messed up again," Anti sneered back. "Ya can't seem to get a single hat trick right without screwing up somethin'."

The magician's eyes widened in shock, and you could see he was clearly hurt by Anti's remark.

As much as you really didn't want to deal with this at 11 o'clock at night, you knew you had to intervene before things could escalate. "Anti...that's enough. I don't have the time or energy for-"

"Awh c'mon, [y/n]," he cut you off, "aren't'cha sick of him always messing up everythin'? If he didn't want this to happen then maybe he should've kept both his mouth and that stupid book of his shu-"

Suddenly, the slam of a book was heard and everyone turned to see Marvin stand up. There were tears in his eyes, but before anyone could say anything, he ran to his room.

You tried to go after him, but by the time you reached his door, it had already slammed itself shut as soon as he walked through it.

With an agitated sigh, you gripped the doorknob, only to yelp in pain as green bolts of electricity shot out, giving you a small, yet painful, shock. "Marvin, c'mon. Open up!" You attempted to pound on the door itself, however it only achieved the same effect.

So you stepped away, running a hand through your hair. 'Damn it...he's never gonna come out now. Unless...'

"Anti. Come here now."

"Why should I?" The demon asked you from the living room. "If ya really think I'm gonna apologize to him for saying the truth, then you're wro-"

"Truth or not, what you said still hurt his feelings!" You snapped back, feeling your impatience growing more by the second.

"Well.... it's his fault if he can't accept that he's a-"

"Antisepticeye if you don't get over here in two seconds I'm taking that knife away for good."

You heard a gasp and, before you knew it, Anti was at your side, gripping your leg tightly."N-No!! P-please...d-don't take it away a-again!!" He hiccuped, his lower lip quivering as he looked up at you. "I-I'll do whatever ya want! I p-promise!!"

For a moment you froze, stunned at how easily your threat worked on him, but then you sighed and crouched down. "Alright, alright...as long as you go in there and give him a nice, meaningful apology..I won't touch your knife." You ruffled his hair a bit. "Okay?"

Anti nodded slowly, letting go of you and rubbing his eyes. He then turned to the door and sighed, before reluctantly glitching himself into the room.

'Welp, that was easier than I thought.' You mused as you stood back up. 'But...I guess now the only thing to do is make sure the others don't get into any troub-'

A loud thumping noise followed by a ear-piercing wail cut off your train of thought.

'I spoke too soon...'

You immediately rushed back to the living room to find a sobbing Jackie curled up on the floor, with Henrik sitting next to him, rubbing his head and trying to give him comforting words...or at least that's what he thought he was doing.

"Shh, calm down Jackieboy. It could be vorse. You could've broken your spine or cracked your skull vide open-"

"What happened here?"

The little doctor glanced up at you, frowning. "Jackieboy fell off ze couch," he explained. "But I got him, [y/n]. Go rest. You need it."

But you shook your head in protest. "Henrik, I-"

"Doctor's orders!" He hissed. "I promise I got a handle on-!"

"Henrik, look, you may be the doctor, but right now I'm the oldest out of everyone here." You told him.

Henrik shot you a look. "But-!"

"Just leave him to me...because if anything I think you're making him feel worse."

He opened his mouth to protest, but realized you had a good point, so he quickly shut it and sighed. "Fine..I know you've had a long day and...I'm just trying to make zis less stressful for you."

Your gaze softened. "And I appreciate that. Thank you, Henrik."

Nodding slowly, Henrik stood up and stepped away, crawling back onto the chair he had previously sat on. With him out of the way, you brought your attention back over to the crying superhero. You carefully picked him up and brought him into your embrace, before standing up and sitting down on the sofa.

"Shhh...it's alright Jackie...it's okay.." You hushed, pulling down his hood and stroking his hair. "Does it hurt a lot?"

However, Jackie ignored your question as he clung to you tightly and buried his face into your shoulder, bawling his eyes out. You were a bit confused on why he was acting so hysterical, but then again..he was a toddler..

Looking over, you could see that there was a rather large bruise along the line between his green and brown hair. 'Poor guy. I know he's fallen off of rooftops and trees...but...why do I feel bad about him falling off a damn sofa?'

Shaking your head, you gave the bruise a quick, yet gentle kiss. Surprisingly, Jackie calmed down in an instant, as he was no longer sobbing. He looked up at you, sniffling lightly.

"You alright, sweetheart?" You asked him, wiping away his tears.

The tiny superhero nodded slowly, rubbing his nose with his arm before smiling at you. "I-It..It doesn't huwt anymowe..."

The way he spoke made your heart melt a little. 'God why is he so adorable?' "I'm glad to hear that." A smile appeared on your face as you have him a kiss on the forehead, which made him giggle and snuggle closer to you. He yawned a bit, before closing his eyes.

Oddly enough, you no longer felt as stressed as you were before.

Then you felt a tug on your sleeve, and you glanced down to see Chase staring up at you with wide eyes. Once he had your attention, he clung to your arm, rubbing his cheek against it.

This time there was no holding back your giggles. "Awwwh, you're such a cutie, Chase." You took off his hat and placed it on top of your head to tease him.

"Heyyy.." He pouted slightly. "That's not cool bwo.."

"Sorry, dude..I thought this hat was too big for ya," you snickered, removing it and setting it back onto his head, turning it backwards so you could see his face. "I've been mistaken."

Chase's smile returned as he hugged your arm once more.

Before long, your gaze went over to Henrik, who seemed to be glaring at the two egos out of jealousy. Once he caught you staring, however, he looked away, grumbling to himself.

"Henrik, you wanna come over here, too? There's plenty of room." You offered.

"I-I'm all set, [y/n].." He muttered in response.

"C'mon...no need to be shy."

After a long period of hesitation, the doctor finally gave up, sighing as he made his way over to you. Once he climbed up onto the couch, Henrik cuddled up to you, resting his cheek against your stomach. "Hmm..zank you.." He mumbled, blushing slightly. "Zis feels...veird but nice..."

Something told you that he probably wasn't use to this sort of affection, given that he didn't exactly have a...happy childhood. But you decided not to bring that up, as you simply smiled and stroked his hair calmly.

"Ah...I see you're all comfortable..."

Blinking slowly, you, Henrik, and Chase glanced over to see Marvin enter the room, with Anti in tow. Jackie woke up from his rest and noticed them, too.

You blushed. "A-Ah..maybe. Have you fixed the page?"

"Yep," Marvin smiled. "With Anti's help of course." He glanced back at the demon briefly. "So whenever you guys are ready I'll change us all back."

"Ja, I vould like zat." Henrik sat up, getting off of your lap and the sofa. Reluctantly, Jackie and Chase followed suit, climbing off the sofa and turning to the magician.

"Alright then..let's do it." Marvin opened his book to the page he had restored and began speaking the lines of it in an unknown language.

There was a bright flash that illuminated the entire room, and once it had faded away....the egos were back to normal.

"W-Wow...that was something," Chase chuckled, adjusting his hat with a sigh.

"Tell me about it," Henrik grumbled. "I'm just happy my coat fits me again.."

"Ugh...great..now I gotta wash this snot off my suit.." Jackie grimanced as he looked down at his arm with a disgusted expression.

"Welp, at least you all got a taste of what I've been through," Anti sighed, holding his knife up to the light. He then glanced over at Marvin. "Marv?"

The magician tensed as he turned to face Anti, although he was surprised to see a...smile on his face?

"I'm still gonna make fun of yer magic, but listen...don't let it get to yer head, okay?" The demon clasped a hand on his shoulder. "Because...you..you can actually do some pretty cool stuff. Ya just need more..practice, that's all."

Marvin was stunned by his words, but before long he returned the smile and sighed. "Thank you, Anti. I appreciate your kind words." He then closed his book and turned back to the others. "So, now that we're all back to normal, we can-"

"Mawvin?"

Total silence filled the room as the egos exchanged confused glances with one another, before one by one they turned around. Their eyes widened and their jaws dropped in shock as they saw you sitting on the couch....toddler-sized.

"Oh boy..." Marvin chuckled, sweatdropping a little bit as he set down his book and walked over to you, crouching down. "U-Um..I'm so sorry about this, [y/n]. I forgot the spell has a wide area-of-effect where any toddler in the room is turned into an adult, and vice versa. But I can make a potion to...." But he trailed off as he noticed that you were staring at him, confusion written all over your face.

"You..don't understand me, do you?" The magician sighed in defeat, letting his head hang. "Damn it..."

"Kitty?"

He blinked in when he saw you reach up and pat his mask, repeating the word "kitty" and giggling all the while.

"Why doesn't [y/n] understand ya?" Anti asked, his eyebrows furrowing in confusion. "And more importantly...why are they actin' like..that?" He gestured to you, seeing that you were now trying to grab onto the nose of Marvin's mask.

"Because..the spell has different effects on certain people," Marvin explained as he scooped you up into his arms and turned back to the others. "For me, you, and Henrik...it only regressed our age although we kept our normal mentality. But as for Chase, Jackie, and now [y/n]....their minds were completely reduced to that of a 3-year old's."

"Huh...that would explain why I couldn't talk normally," Jackie muttered. "And why I was crying like a little bi-"

"Shhhhhhh don't swear in front of the kid!!" Chase shushed him loudly, covering his mouth with one hand.

Everybody stared at the ego in both bewilderment and confusion.

He then realized what he was doing and quickly dropped his hand. "O-Oh...ah..sorry 'bout that.." He chuckled nervously, rubbing the back of his neck sheepishly. "It's just...parental instinct, ya know?"

"Chasey?"

Blinking, Chase turned around to see you squirming in Marvin's arms, reaching your tiny hands out to him. His eyes widened. "Wh..Wha..?"

"I think...they wanna be held by you," the magician muttered, before glancing at you. "Is that what you want [y/n]? You want Chase to hold you?"

"Yeh!" You nodded firmly.

"Vait.." Henrik cut in, frowning slightly. "Ve gotta get zem back to normal at some point! Vhy are ve vasting time-?"

However, Marvin ignored the doctor as he walked over to Chase, allowing him to take you out of his arms and into his. For a few moments, the man in the snapback stared down at you, before a wide smile appeared on his face. "Gah..you're so adorable, dude!" He chuckled, ruffling your hair a bit. "I never knew how cute you were as a little tyke until now!"

You simply giggled in response, putting your arms around his neck and hugging him. Chase blinked with surprise, but sighed and returned the embrace, his heart swelling up.

"Man, I forgot..how long it's been since I've held anyone your size...l-let alone my....." His breath hitched slightly as his smile faded, tears now filling up his eyes. "....m-my own k-kids..." He then let his head drop onto your small shoulder, hugging you even tighter.

The others stared at him in both shock and sympathy, but before any of them could do anything, they saw you let go of Chase's neck. "Ch-Chasey? Why are you cwying?" You asked worriedly.

Sniffling, Chase looked up at you with wet, red eyes. "I-I'm sorry, [y/n]..." He sighed shakily, rubbing his eyes a bit. "I was just r-remembering...sad stuff, that's all. Don't worry, little dude..I'm fine..I promise..."

However, you weren't convinced, as evident by the frown on your face. You then reached forward, attempting to wipe away the tears as they fell down his cheeks to the best of your ability. "It's okay, Chasey...don't be sad...we'we hewe for you."

He stared back at you with wide eyes. Though before long, his smile reappeared as he laughed a little and kissed your cheek. "Thanks, [y/n]....I..I really needed that.."

You smiled back and hugged him once more.

Everyone let out a small "awh" at the adorable scene...except for Anti who instead let out a yawn.

"Ugh alright, alright..now that we got that sentimental crap outta the way...can we just....why are ya starin' at me like that?" The demon raised an eyebrow as he realized you were looking directly at him with the same gaze you gave to Chase.

"Oh um..." Chase muttered nervously, glancing at you, and then back to him. "I...think they want you to-"

"Oh hell no!" Anti hissed as he glitched back several feet. "No way in hell am I holding-!" However, he stopped once he noticed that you looked like you were about to cry. He then sighed in annoyance. "Ugh..listen, [y/n]. It's nothing against ya but....why me of all people? Aren't ya scared of me?"

"No.." You shook your head, reaching your arms out to him. "...I'm not scawed..I'm bwave like Jackie!"

Upon hearing his name, the superhero grinned widely. "Awww oh my God that's the cutest thing ever!!!" He squealed, hopping up and down a bit, although he stopped moments later and looked at Anti. "Why do you look so..tense? Is something wrong?"

"No..it's just..." Anti paused, his eyes clouded with both worry and frustration as he debated on whether to take you or not. "...I'm not exactly the best around kids and I don't wanna hurt-"

"Dude, c'mon," Chase sighed as he walked over to the demon. "Just hold [y/n] for at least five seconds. If they trust you then you shouldn't worry about anything.."

The demon was silent, and for a few moments he stared at you with hesitation. You simply stared back at him, your [e/c] eyes blinking in curiosity. He then bared his teeth and snarled at you, hoping that would somehow deter you.

You flinched back a little, but to his surprise you actually started...giggling?

Anti didn't know what to think of it, so he sighed and shook his head. "You're a weird kid......fine, c'mere..." Giving up, he walked over to take you out of Chase's arms.

Once he succeeded, he sat down on the couch and set you onto his lap. "Soooo..." He began, unsure of what to do with you now. "Ya wanna play with my knife or somethin'?"

A small smirk appeared on his face as his knife glitched into his hand. He held it over you, snickering as he watched you try to reach for the shiny tool.

Chase gasped, and was about to blow up and yell at him when suddenly Marvin snapped his fingers. The knife vanished from the demon's hand temporarily, before reappearing as....a plushie?

"What the...?" Anti's eyes widened as he stared at his beloved weapon, horrified, before he turned and glowered at the magician. "WHAT THE HELL DID YA DO TO MY KNIFE?!!"

"Relax, Anti," Marvin told him calmly. "It's only temporary. And besides...I thought you said you didn't want [y/n] getting hurt."

"I..I did, but-

However, he was cut off when he saw you take the knife plushie out of his hands. "Hey!" Anti growled, frowning down at you as you hugged it close to your body. "Give that back!" He tried to take it, but you shook your head and squeezed the soft toy tighter. "No."

He raised an eyebrow. "No..?"

"No." You repeated, looking up at him with a pout on your face. "No more stabby-stabs."

The demon blinked multiple times, staring at you with a dumbfounded expression. It wasn't too long before he sighed in defeat. "Ya know what....just keep it.." He grumbled. "I don't care.."

A grin appeared on your face, although eventually you let out a small yawn and snuggled into his chest. Anti tensed up as you did so, surprised that you were willing to get so close to him. For a few seconds longer, he stared down at your now sleeping form.

And then...a tiny smile soon made its way onto his face as he sighed once more. "I guess...kids ain't so bad after all..." He muttered, ruffling your hair a bit.

The other egos simply smiled at the scene, with Chase commenting on how Anti would make an alright babysitter. The demon did snarl at him, despite the growing blush on his green skin.

Eventually Marvin did turn you back to normal, much to your relief, and the night continued on as normal...with all of you fighting over what to watch on Netflix.

However, for the next few days or so Anti would constantly tease you about all the stuff you did while you were in toddler form. But as much as you wanted to just forget everything...you knew he'd never let you live it down.

"Hehe, you called my knife "Stabby-Stab"-"

"Anti, please do me a favor and go roll in a ditch..."
