looking very nice! I always thought that the thumbs were some sort of eyes of the statue holding the portion...
i'd love to see the original ruins or temple the Protoon was held in! judging from the cracks and vines, the temple must have existed for a very long time!

you're very welcome!
interesting theory! makes me wonder if there are more Protoons in different parts of the world...
suddenly crazy theory: the orb from the Knaaren pedestal is a Protoon of its own. The Knaaren are from beyond the Glade of Dreams and created by the Leptys, not by Polokus, and both are god-like entities. Maybe there are more such godly creatures around on Rayman's world, each who have a Protoon of their own which like you said, act as a smaller version of the Heart of the World that stabilizes the stability/natural order of the lands of these Gods.
(Fun fact: In the Dutch manual for Rayman Revolution, the Glade of Dreams is translated as the Dream Crossroads/Crossroads of Dreams. may be just a translation thing, or maybe it could feed insane theorists like myself O_o )

That's interesting! My friends and I like to see the Protoons as smaller versions of the Heart of the World which allows to spread the magic energy through the entire Glade... Like Wifi repetitors, in a way. c':
Oh, it's not a translation error! It's because in French the Glade is called "La Croisée des Rêves", so this is a literal translation!

People theorize that it's the Heart of the World, which can be found in the center of the big Teensie disco room not long after Globox eats André and right before the first Funkyboard section starts.

that's what the wiki said, if i remember correctly, and i do believe so myself. however, Clara has written her take on the Protoon in the comments section of this artwork as well.

Maybe the Magician and Betilla hid it better for good? c': Or is it inside the Heart of the World? Or a smaller version of the heart of the World for the Valley?
So many possibilities!
