Sweet crumbly digestive biscuit base with sticky, chewy caramel topped with dark and white chocolate for my kids teachers Christmas treats this year.

Normally I plan my Christmas present baking a good month or so in advance. This year however we have moved house twice in seven months! The latest being on the 29th November putting all baking plans completely out of the window until after the move. Running low on time I had to think of a quick and easy recipe that could feed more than seven people, suitable for little food gift bags, so nothing too delicate, something everyone might like and something I have never baked for the teachers before. I was going to make fudge but I wanted to try something I have made before so chose millionaires shortbread, though I can not call mine shortbread as I replaced that element with digestive biscuits (the UK's version of graham crackers) instead.
