Thank you so much for uploading this! This image was the first image I saw regarding TMP. I can still remember paging through a sci-fi mag (probably Starlog) and seeing that image and thinking "Holy crap! This is really happening!" I was always bummed that they didn't use this as the final poster, as it's one of my favorite all time Trek images. Never was a fan of the rainbow poster.

You're welcome. I agree with you that this poster is better. At the time I joked that I wouldn't believe a Star Trek movie had been made until I was walking out of the theater after watching it.
