I had been wandering the forest for an hour, trying to find a person, or even a place.

It's hard to know where you are when you're 9.

I sighed heavily, and kept walking forward.

I've gotta find someone so--

"Why won't anyone be my friend?" I raised a brow, and followed the voice. I came through a brush, and found a boy (around my age) sulking on a tree stump. I hid behind a tree, my hands grasping the bark, and he sighed again. "Why doesn't anyone like me?" I stepped out, my hands clutched to my chest.

"I-I'll be your friend." I whispered, and the boy gasped, before turning around. His violet eyes landed on me, and his cheeks turned red.

"You will?!" He squealed, standing up. I giggled,

"If I get to know your name." He smiled, his eyes squeezing shut.

"I'm Russia." I raised a brow, and stepped closer.

"Russia? That's a funny name." He blushed,

"Well.. I guess you can call me Ivan." I smiled,

"I'm (F/N)." He raised his pinky, and I felt my cheeks redden.

"So you'll be my friend.. (F/N)?"

"Only if you'll be mine." He linked our pinkies together.

"Forever."

I've been hanging with Russia for a while now, but today was different. We've been walking around for an hour, my hand in his.

"Ivan.. where are we going?" He smiled, and looked at me.

"To where we met." I felt my cheeks blush, and he squeezed my hand.

"Oi Russia!" Ivan stopped dead in his tracks, his body shaking. I turned my head, and came face to face with a silver haired boy. "I've finally found you!.. And you've got a girlfriend!" I felt my cheeks heat up, and he cocked his head. "Hey, you're kind of cute." Before I could react, I was being dragged by Ivan.

"Ivan what are you doing?!" I squeaked, and he pulled me along.

"Running!" I ran after him, and the boy behind us yelled,

"Why are you running away?!" Russia's grip on my hand tightened, and he ran faster.

"Because you guys are mean to me!" I ran with him, but a man with high spiked hair stopped us, another man behind him.

"We're not gonna let you go any farther! Go!" Ivan froze in place, his body trembling.

"Denmark and Sweden? You guys are after me too?!" Ivan was shaking, and I felt something raise inside of me. I stepped infront of Ivan, stretching my arms out.

"DON'T TOUCH HIM!" I yelled, and everyone stopped. "You touch Ivan, and you'll have to deal with me!" I was so confident, but suddenly, everyone started laughing at me.

"Oh Russia~ You need your girlfriend to protect--" Before he could finish his sentence, I socked him in the nose. The albino fell backwards, holding his nose.

"I'm not his girlfriend!" I turned to face the two taller males, and yelled at them. "I'm not afraid to hit bigger people!" They both backed away, and I took a step toward them. They ran off after that. I felt a smile grow on my face, and I turned to Ivan.

"(F/N).. I can't believe you did that.." I felt the smile fade.

"A-Are you mad at me?" He looked at me, then I felt myself being pulled into his chest. I felt my cheeks burn, and he spoke,

"No."

--Timeskip!~--

I was walking across a frozen lake with Ivan, his 'Army' behind us.

"Why are they with us Ivan?"

"For backup incase anything happens." I raised a brow, but we were stopped.

"Aah! There you are, Russia!" The same boy who I punched a couple weeks ago stood infront of us, a massive army behind him.

"Teutonic Knights!" Ivan yelled, a worried expression on his face.

"I've finally found you! Pledge your loyalty to me!" I clutched Ivan's arm, and he trembled.

"Well you should assess the situation more carefully.. And then pick a fight." A creepy laugh then erupted from the boy,

"Keseseses~"

"Y-You see, we're on ice,too, so.." Ivan spoke, taking a step back, the ice making a crumbling sound under our feet.

"Who cares? Take my holy sword!" Teutonic Knights raised high in the air, sword in hand, coming down upon both of us.

"Aah!"

"Guys, charge!"

"S-stop it!" Ivan yelled, a panicky tone in his voice. Suddenly, the ice crumbled underneath them, Teutonic Knights army falling in with him. I raised my hand to my mouth, and Russia pulled then albino out. They both landed flat on the ice, and the boy breathed in deep.

"W-well.. That was close." I looked at Ivan, and he had this.. eery smile plastered on his face. Then, his hands latched around Teutonic Knights neck. This purple aura grew around him.

"Teutonic Knights.. You always get carried away, don't you?" His hands tightened. "You should think more before you act...That was bound to happen when you act that way on ice, right?" The albino raised his hands, squirming, "Are you a bad child that doesn't even know that?"

"Ivan.." I whispered, and he continued,

"I tried to stop you, didn't I?"

"Ivan." I spoke more sternly, taking a step toward him.

"I-I'm sorry.." The albino choked out, and I placed my hand on Ivan's shoulder.

"Ivan!" I yelled, and he let go, but turned to me. The purple aura still around him.

"And you.." He whispered, taking a step toward me. I felt his hands on my shoulders, and suddenly, I was pushed backward, and I landed on my bottom.

"I don't need your help.. I can fend for my self. I don't need you." I felt my eyes wetten, and then he turned around, and walked away. I felt tears travel down my cheeks, and I put my hands up to my face, crying into them.

'Forever.'

--Ten years later!~--

I've become a country.

The country of (COUNTRY NAME) to be exact.

Today was my first day going to the World meetings. I had prettied myself up, My (H/L) (H/C) down in loose curls. I walked with confidence down the hall, and heard a loud voice.

"Dude, you must be the new country!" I turned around, and found a blonde boy, his blue eyes hidden behind glasses. His cheeks turned red. "Hey.. You're kind of cute." I felt my cheeks blush too, and he smiled. "I'll escort you to your seat.. The hero always does!" I laughed, and walked in the gigantic room.

"It's huge!" I gushed, and his boisterous laugh echoed throughout the room.

"I know!" I giggled, then sat down in my seat. Everyone entered the room, and the meeting started.

After a while, America (Or Alfred) called on me.

"Please welcome the new country, (COUNTRY NAME)!" I stood up, and bowed,

"It's a pleasure to be here." I was going to continue, but someone across the table stood up, violet eyes on me.

"(F-F/N)?" I recognized the accent.. The eyes.. The hair colour..

"Ivan!" I yelled, and he let go, but turned to me. The purple aura still around him.

"And you.." He whispered, taking a step toward me. I felt his hands on my shoulders, and suddenly, I was pushed backward, and I landed on my bottom.

"I don't need your help.. I can fend for my self. I don't need you." I felt my eyes wetten, and then he turned around, and walked away. I felt tears travel down my cheeks, and I put my hands up to my face, crying into them.
