Food: They absorb nutrients from the ground by using their root-like feet as mouths.

These weird Pinwalkers live everywhere in Ti-im-bombia. They often live around rotting trees that have fallen to the ground, they will absorb the nutrients from the rotting wood. They will also congregate around animals that have died, often with 100 of specimens at the same time. They consume the nutrients from the foodsource by digging their feet into it, often jiggling their legs a bit whilst doing this. They are very sluggish, it takes very long for them to get somewhere. They can make sounds by slamming their stubby little "arms" against their tuff bodies (they only do this when threatened). This kind of sounds like a twig breaking. The Woody behemoth only lives on the edges of forests whilst all the other species live deep inside of them. They are a popular pet among Ti-im-bombian Umi's, they will often keep them in flowerpots near their windows. They can become over 50 years old. They lay one single egg which they will protect by hiding it between their root-like feet (as the Pompon twigman above is doing). They are hermaphrodites.
