my Cecil headcanon has been in flux but here is what I’ve been seeing him as lately- he has bags under his eyes because he is prone to frequent existential crisi and communal nightmares

i love moving tattoos Cecil so I have this head canon that he’s human but of the more magical variety- the actual human population of Nightvale is actually rather small (unmutated humans at least), so the tattoos are a way to protect him and other humans who have it (most of the time)

rather that eldritch tentacles, they’re eyes and hands. Cecil is a pacifist by nature but he uses them when he needs to, yanno
