i just took a screenshot of my work in progress-started tonight.here's a close up of the face..
i'm curious to know if anybody likes this-is it worth finishing?
it's taking damn forever!
EDIT: colored the hair and changed file
EDIT2: hair done. changed nose style, does it look better?
EDIT 3: i've changed the file again with a better one, this is what i've finished till now, i'm off to bed and i'll continue tomorrow..

lool i was afraid it looked more like a bunch of guts than blood, but i hadn't thought about ketchup..

Ah.. yeah I was about to say it looked like Spaghetti-Ohs sauce because of the color. Hm.. not sure how photoshop handles colors, but if the color chooser lets you put in numbers, use this number for red "ff0000" or set red to "255" and set green and blue to "0" and for a more dried-blood crimson use "c00000" or set red to "192 and leave the rest "0" and for a darker red use "800000" or set red to "128" and leave the rest "0"

i was doing this in flash, actually, that's why the colors don't blend too well.
i started doing stuff in photoshop too, but this is before that (by a day or 2).
also, i can't draw in photoshop at all, it looks really awful..flash works better for me there..

hm.. well, if flash has color options that should still work. It's been forever and a half since I touched flash since I fail so hard at it XD

of course flash has colors (that's like saying "do the japanese have chopsticks to eat their rice with?") but i don't know/can't find/ doesn't exist a good smudge tool or blur or anything the likes to help blend those colors better..

You can definately tell that hours went into it if it makes you feel any better. I work for hours on things from them to look like most peoples' two minute doodles...
