Madara's sobering words to Sasuke.
Sasuke was always shown as the one crying here most of the time. But then wouldn't Itachi have cried just as hard after everything? So I made Itachi cry, too.
I really like Itachi. He is one of the best characters in Naruto IMHO.
Maybe it's the fact that after all the so-called evil that Itachi has done all these years, it all centered on Sasuke after all. It was all for his little brother. And imagine all that he had to pay just to save and protect him.

I gave up so much, as romantic as I see it only after opening it up I realized that it was stupid, giving up on my friends, family, even myself in many ways, and for what, Someone who took all I gave, all I did was give, all I did was make a promise to someone I cared about, promises I want to keep, promises she wants me to let go of, 1 I'll never love anyone else but her, 2 I'll always love her no matter what, 3 I'll always be there for her no matter what.
She never made a promise and all I did was keep mine, she wants to move on, and I'd die knowing I did everything I could just to make her stronger and more open to the world.
Jeez seeing this and reading just really got me going, ahaha.

itachi's ordeal reminds me A LOT of what The Boss went through in Metal Gear Solid 3.

This picture made my cry, too... Its just so... so DAMN SAD! Itachi wouldn't want his little Brother to cry... And I think the thing Sasuke would want the most afterwards, would be Itachi hugging him. But still he is dead -.- I hate that fact. I think, he would cry, yeah. He would very well cry, when he saw his little Brother with all that pain - and the fact, that, without wanting it, HE has caused all that pain. But all he wanted to, was protecting his little Brother! Without him, Sasuke would have been long dead. It's really a lot, he payed for just knewing him safe. I once saw a picture with the capture: "Sacrificing your happiness for the one you love is by far the purest form of love." Or some kind of it alt least. But that's it, isn't it? Itachi is for sure one of the best charakters.
And I think you presented him in a very realistic way. In a sad way as well... It's cool, I like the pic! Would it look like this when they'd meet in Heaven once again? But I'm not quite sure if Sasuke will get there, after all what he's doing right now... For Itachi I'm quite sure. I mean, he never wanted to be a murderer. It was just for protecting the world and he gave up mostley everything he had! But Sasuke... all he wants is revenge...

Although Sasuke's hair doesn't look quite right. His and Itachi's hair are being blown in opposite directions XD.

Hey, so I was looking through my fave-ed stuff, and came back to look at this, I noticed something else.
Itachi's got his arms tight around Sasuke, but Sasuke looks almost afraid to reach out and hug his nii-san.
Heartwarming, heartbreaking, and appropriate at the same time. Itachi always loved him utterly, unconditionally, while Sasuke must be feeling absolutely horrible about what happened. How could he look his brother in the eye after all that?
