Description Luciana wears this form-fitting dress for all occasions. She feels comfortable in it and she loves the silk material as it moves with her. Luciana is my own character, from my furry novel: Luciana: Timetraveller, she's also my roleplaying character on [link] (the site is not for minors however)

Image originally by Max Blackrabbit of Shawntae Howard's Artica. [What was the original image called please?]

She's been one of the best things I ever created has Luciana: she really has. Thanks to Luci I made loads of friends and had a load of good times *chuckles*. I'm working on a new set of her as we speak alongside Loulabelle.

Luci's had a delay to my own stupidity. Normally I make a couple of images to show my progress for any curious people... this time instead of going back before I made the progress image: I closed Photoshop as I was due to go out. Only Saturday evening when I got home did this dawn on me and so now I have to start setting all that work back up... again... it's made worse by the heatwave everyone seems to be having as it makes it hard for me to work up the energy to do anything hehe

I know what you mean.Curse the heatwave!Curse it!lolol.Anyway just keep trying and trying one fall back may effect you,but can also show you any mistakes or if you need to change something.

No no hon my mistake isn't in my lineart. When I work on a piece I do this general pattern:-

1 Fix the sketch to create the finalised line art
2 Save this sketch (I only realised recently I didn't even do this part so had to remake the line art from sketch)
3 Set the background (main image) to a layer (Layer 0) and duplicate it
4 Set this new layer (Layer 1) to Multiply
5 Begin making the flats (Magic Wand and area, make new layer: color one solid color. Repeat until whole image is set up)
6 Flatten Image and save Flats stage (for people I do works for this is to show them my overall idea)
7 Click on History tab, click action prior to Flatten Image: continue with layers after saving

Now that's where I went wrong. See instead of making sure I'd stepped back from the flatten... I didn't and instead saved the PSD (that's what Photoshop calls the file when it's set up in layers) as the flattened version. That is why I'm starting again with rebuilding the PSD. It's not due to any color/technique/line art/inking etc. failure hehe it's due to me not checking the PSD's state before I shut my PC down

It's okay, I have made line art goofs before now. One cracking one was drawing Chelsea for Dr. Comet. We had this plan you see, draw a cute squirrel on the side of a pool... yup all was going good until I noticed I'd already started inking a skunkette sat on a park bench... Emailed him to say what happened, he replied that after he stopped laughing I could go ahead and finish her as the skunk idea he'd not thought of and if she works: who cares? Chelsea's also the reason none of the major details are featured in the linework itself but painted in. Most of the hair strands for example, are made with the paint not with the original lines. I'll have to pop up one of my line arts to show what I mean but hopefully that made some sense

Oh-ok I can level with that.Heck if you have a fun time with the drawing,is all you need.Just remember to always start with the idea then go through with it.

I did put up Loula's face with a How-to guide to how she's made for anyone curious. I've been asked at various times how I did this, how I did that so thought... ahh heck just pop one image up with the whole process hehe. [link] if you want to see how she's done *smiles*

I did have your critique on my little guide *chuckles*, it's there if anyone wants any help on how Loula's crafted. My complete work load from start to finish. So now everyone can see just how much goes into making Loula and the girls: look as they do hehe. The same techniques can be applied to pencil colors just adjust for the different mediums.

Why thank you my friend. Hard to believe after three years away from regular attendance at Heat of the Night: Luciana here is still popular although some point my fox will return but done completely away from any ref other than a real model... so hopefully others who love her will look forwards to that one hehe

There's a lot to tell about Luciana... The character is mine, yes: created for use on a fur website. The base is from Max Blackrabbit's image of Artica, who is owned by Mr. Shawntae Howard. Luciana Sylvana Monteiro is a vixen born in FLorida, raised in the UK until she is sixteen and then moves back to study in Nutshell College. Lucy's stats are pretty impressive, UK stats have her measurements as 5ft 11 tall: 38E/25/36 for Bust/ Waist/Hips. She's multi-talented and works for Heat of the Night Productions as a porn actress. There's a whole lot more to her but that takes a journal by itself hehe

Hehehehe. "I'm dressed... for success. Shaping me up for the bigtime, I wanna get dressed, for success" A song by Swedish band, Roxette. Fits Luciana with such precision though hehe... She always dresses to impress and I think she may just manage it hehe!

:hugs: Thanking you so much darling. This is the full version of her as you've seen her in our Dance thread on Heat. I'm proud of her, only one thing remains before I can say she's finalised: shading her fur and adding the tail point....
