I adopted her three days ago because she had lost her family.She is very affectionate and sweet.

Ahh! Β Another cat person! Β I like that. Β So am I! Β I saved a cat from Hurricane Katrina. Β She was just a baby feral cat who was blown away from her mother!

I love non-human animals, especially cats, since I graduated in Biology.
I adopted three cats who had been abandoned.Β
I think and feel that they have the vital spirit just like us.

We live with our animals 24 hours a day, so we are very sensitized to their almost human-like personalities. Β My cat says hello and other English words trying desperately to communicate with us. Β Our dog uses non-verbal language to let us know he can communicate. Β We just lost one of our dogs of 13 years and it was like losing a son or daughter. Β It was an awful experience because he was so helpless. Β I am a biological and physiological psychologist which means I am more biologist and physiologist than psychologist, so I have that same feeling for animals. Β I love them. Β I can't help myself.

The volunteers of the shelter take care of all the cats with lots of love.
About three hundred of them are adopted by families every year.
Of course, all this is possible mainly thanks to voluntary donations of citizens.

Thank goodness for volunteers.. we all need them... we have no cat home here at all.
Β I do as much as i can to help the animal hospital that is 1 1/2 hrs away and save old towels etc for the pets cages
