I love this...you've really captured the perfect scene, atmosphere, of the Hollow Earth theory.

If Pellucidar (Edgar Rice Burroughs) or The Lindenbrock Sea (Jules Verne) were actually real and existed into the modern day. This would be how it looks.Β
I've always been curious about how fantasy settings from the 1800's and 1910's pulp literature would interact with our world if they existed into the modern day.Β

I think in fact, that given the distance, you wouldn't be able to see the other side of the inner sphere... Β

We do see the moon, and it's pretty far away. But who knows, we have no factual data about the place, only theories - accepted and non accepted ones.

Nice! I like this image because it's such a mesh of everything (dinosaurs, sail boats, steamships, the awesome futuristic buildings...and who wouldn't love that "sky"!). I'm feeling very Jules Verne right now!

An interesting myth. Β True, its not possible in real life. Β But, the idea of it sounds cool for something like a giant space station maybe.

No, the fact that its impossible for a sun that small to exist, and gravity doesn't work that way.
π: 0 β©: 1
21Mauricio21 In reply to Xelku9 [2015-09-30 11:17:32 +0000 UTC]
Sure, because it also should be impossible for suns that are the size of our solar system to exist as well. If there's nothing proven about it, it's not impossible.
