This is my entry for Makorra Week 2013's theme of Lyrical. I matched the lyrics of the song to the makorra break up scene...../le sob...them break up feels...stupid OTP ;~;

While I know Korra was acting badly at the beginning of the season, the break up was entirely Mako's fault..At least I think so. And then while she was off changing and growing, he was...ugh. I don't care if he was stressed and all that, you don't go back to your ex that fast..and then the lie? Seriously? I hope he shapes up in season 3, I want Makorra to win out in the end..And I hope mako realizes that he can't just give up whenever it becomes inconvenient for him.

I don't think Mako is good with relationships period.Β
He only knows how to be an older brother. When it comes to his love life, he's still learning.
He hasn't exactly had his mother or father around for counseling or advice so of course he's gonna mess up(Imagine teaching yourself about love & relationships with no example to follow).
While I don't agree that he should be forgiven so easily at the same time I understand that everyone makes mistakes(And in his head they DID just break up you know and Asami WAS all sweet, vulnerable and needy and he IS a man).Β
He just needs to get his act straight and suffer along the sideline in jealousy for a while until he realizes his mistakes and Korra's worth. Book 3 should be interesting. I look foreward to Korra dating or getting to know someone new so we can have some scenes similar to the borra date

Of course! I actually watched a video posted by Bolin's voice actor, and he said there is practically no romance whatsoever in book 3. I saw it on a tumblr link.

yeah, he said it would only be mentioned in passing. Bryke got pretty annoyed at the whole shipping thing, so they swore it off for a little bit. There is no saying there isn't any in book 4 though

Haha yeah that was what everyone else said, but the video came out after the interview. I'm kinda glad there will be a break from the romance drama, it was a bit too heavy in book 2. The best part is, while there won't be makorra, there will also be no masami!

lol well I just hope we atleast get a little bit of makorra interaction, I don't ask for much. A break from relationships doesn't sound too bad either as long as its not a permanent change.

It probably won't be, we have book 4 to look forward to as well. Book 3 is going to focus more on the flashback stuff, with Lin and Bumi. And I think we finally get to see Zuko!
