Description The Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-21 supersonic fighter entered service with the USSR in 1959, and also saw service with Soviet Bloc and many other countries around the world.

It was manufactured in many different versions from 1959 to 1985 - the longest production run of any combat aircraft.

The MiG-21 is armed with missiles and rockets according to version including 1 x 23mm cannon and and a mixture of missiles typically AA-8, AA-10, AA-11 and AA-12 on two or four rails.

This example is a MiG-21MF of the Angolan Air Force 1983.
