Description The Panzer Mk V Panther was Nazi Germany’s answer to the Russian T-34 which had come as a shock to the formerly unstoppable Blitzkrieg inflicted by the Wehrmacht on so many countries.

The Panther was cheaper to produce than the Tiger Mk I and more effective in many areas which led to it’s widespread use after initial teething troubles were corrected.

The Panther was armed with a 75 mm cannon and 2 x 7.92 mm machine guns.  It weighed 44.8 tons and had a crew of five.

This example is a Panther of the 12th Panzer Division 1943.

I really like your Panthers. I think your tank drawings are every bit as good as your aeroplane drawings.!

Thank you   I use the same technique overall, but instead of getting bored of drawing rivets, I get bored of drawing track links lol...

Ha. Who'd have thought. I'd have thought you used a template of some sort.

It kind of is a template in that I draw one 'link set' and then copy it, but there is no easy way to go round the corners...

Aha. I suppose non-drawers think these things are easier than they really are.
