Flag of Asturies-Llion from 1947 (March 2) to 1956 (October 27). During this period the country had been ruled by the Communist Party of Asturies-Llion (PCAL), which its General Secretary was Belarmino TomΓ‘s from 1947 to 1950 and Santiago Carrillo from 1950 to 1956. The People's Republic was a member of the Warsaw Pact till the government was overthrowned in 1956 by a revolution.Related content
