That Morning

Clawfoot awoke with a start, his dreams plagued by nightmares. He shook his head, remembering where he was.' Maybe it is for the best..' he thought. Ebony was walking over, rolling the diamond around in her hands. She looked up, seeing he was awake.
" You okay?" she asked, making sure to stay a step back in case he got mad.
" Yeah.. I'll get over it." he said, getting up and stretching." I am sure she had a good reason." He smiled weakly. Ebony nodded, looking around. She hugged him quickly before backing off.
" I am sure it will pass friend, it just takes some time." she said, noticing Drake jump over the scaffolding nearby, landing near Shadowscale. She then noticed that Clawfoot's claw was white, wispy and dead looking.
" What's up?" she asked, motioning towards his claw.
" My claw is normally fulled by emotion, so it's dead now. I will need an alternate weapon." He flexed his claw, but Ebony didn't know what to do. She shrugged, walking up to Oblivion's room. Clawfoot moaned, falling back onto the couch he was sleeping on, jumping when he sat on one of his pins.
" Son of a fuck!" he said, rubbing his rear. Drake jumped up, running over to him.
" Everything okay Claw?" he asked, looking around.
" Yeah, just sat on a needle." replied Claw, pulling the needle out." I am not going to do that anymore." Drake chuckled, that is until Claw poked him with the needle.
" Hey!" Drake jumped, playfully hitting Claw.

Oblivion

Oblivion awoke from her bed, a feeling of peace around her. She looked to her side, frowning when she remembered the night before. She sighed gently, jumping at a knock at the door. Ebony came in, carrying a tray of breakfast.
" Everything okay Oblivion?" she asked, and Oblivion nodded." Brought you breakfast, so you wouldn't have to go downstairs." Oblivion smiled.
" Thanks. Is Claw okay?" she asked." All I want for now is a little break."
" I understand. He is fine, though kinda hollow. His claw is dead, but otherwise he seems fine." Ebony layed the tray over Oblivion's legs so she could easily eat." We have landed, and are currently helping the civilians." Oblivion nodded, beginning to eat.

Clawfoot

Drake watched as Claw began to pace.
" what's up?" he asked. Claw looked up.
" I need to get a replacement weapon, since my claw is deadened. I guess..." He smiled, a very large book appearing in his hands. Drake did a double-take, because the book was very reminescient of Kyrena's book, and she was a friend of his." This will work, as it holds some of my spells and spirits."
" My friend, Kyrena has one like that." Drake said, taking a closer look at the book. He saw it was made of some sort of dark greenish scales, with blood-red writing in another language.
" The chaos spawn dragoness? Yes, she is a watcher, so she should have one."
" Watcher?"
" A group of pre-mortal beings that hold pieces of my power in order to reset me in case I lose control. A fail-safe." Drake nodded.
" What can you do with it? Your book I mean." he asked, looking at it apprehensively. Claw smirked.
" Summon weapons, creatures, using spells. I can even use the book as a weapon." He swung the book, spinning it like a saw." Ready for battle!" The alarms started to blare.
" Warning! Level 3 dark chaos spawns incoming! Prepare all cannons and soldiers!" the ship rang.
" Just in time too." said Drake, wielding his blade, Nightfire. Oblivion and Ebony joined them in the hanger, all prepared.
" Time to show these beings whose boss." said Oblivion, readying her pistols.
" We will triumph, together." said Claw, his book open and five spears surrounding him in the air.
