Thx alot! actually we use AfterEffects it's way better then flash. imagin if flash and photoshop had a baby and then pumped it full of steroids, then u have after effects. as quoted by the boss on my first day lol

thats a good idea! if graphic designs what u want to do then being able to illustrate is one more weapon in your arsenal. it makes u much more valuable to the client. aside from that i find that the best illustrations are the one done by good designers as well. think about it, it's one thing to be able to draw well, but the other half is being able to design the page. thats what will keep ppl looking at your piece and can be the first thing to attract them. I actually noticed this awhile ago i forget wat deviation first made me notice, but Lazy is an excellent designer her placements of the characters on a page are perfect. but anyway sry i went on a rant. keep it up man. I'd like to see sketches from u.

i mean i do like to draw sometimes its just i discourage myself cause i cant put on paper whats in my brain area. which makes me angry and punch babies. but you can look in mah gallery for sketches. and yes shawnas stuff is pretty amazing. whats even more amazing is watching her work. its like jesus goes into her hands and throws up on the paper! and i agree about designing and drawing. i used shawnas art for a design project and it came pretty good mainly because i already had good artwork to play off of. i barely did anything.
and i really do need to hurry up and finish this sketchbook. i kind of want to get a coupl of different books when im done. like smaller ones for my traveling convenience and bigger ones so i can mess around with like ink and gauche and things of such nature. plus i have a lot in my head that i feel i need to get out before i just give up on it!!!!!

lol u kno thats funny. I used to beat myself up for the same thing. but not so much anymore. Til this day I've still never been able to put on the page what i have in my head. it always seems so easy until ur pencil touches that paper. some days i wanna quit wat i'm tryna do after i've drawn the first line. trust me. chances are it's never as simple as we make it look.

yeah i always imagine in my head my hands moving the way i want them to and everything coming out perfect but then when i actually try im like "oh wait...i suck" and then i just doodle all over the page. but now im trying to go full steam ahead with design. im going to school in the fall for electronic media. but i know i have to take traditional art classes first which i cant wait because i really need help in like, color theory and things like that. but i mean, ive been drawing alot of stuff from various stories ive had in my head for awhile. however, the story ive had in my head since one Thursday in my 3rd period senior English class from high school has mostly gone unseen on paper. i just wish i didnt jerk around in high school and knew what i wanted to do then instead of now. *cue worlds smallest violin*

lol yea! color theory is very interesting! I've never had a class on it, but i kinda want to. lol I have like at least 10 stories i've made up since 7th grade. and none of them are writin. not even the 3 main ones I have. I keep it all in my head beginning to end lol. I did how ever upload a script for the first chapter of my favorite one "spirit" a while back but the story has since changed.

yeah i know what you mean. the story i had since 12th grade has been changed so many times. but i usually just change like, "important parts" and fight scenes. actually, i uploaded silly little character profiles in my gallery under the file Squared2. but i feel like if i cant have the character look the way i want them to i wont be happy with them anymore, so i rarely write down what i want. plus, i know i want it to be like a comic or something and im not sure how to write scripts or whatever for comics. im not sure should i make it like a script-script, or like a novel type things and then just let someone read it and take what they want from it. however i am a lot more lenient with all my other stories. my latest one i recently threw away and basically gave to my older brother. but i did keep the wizard of oz portion cause ive gotten really attached to it.

yea u should prolly use script for to make it easier to turn it into a comic. but i also think that writing it as a plain story might be fun too. however it'll be harder to turn to a comic or graphic novel from there since it's not written with that in mind u kno.

yeah mang. i get what youre saying. its just so hard sometimes to be like "SCENE, EXTERIOR, MID-DAY. PERSON-BLAAAAAH" and things like that. i think it might get to me after awhile. idk i might have to try it out on a few thangs.
