Description
So, it's the first two days of summer for me, and what do I do? My life gets consumed in the making of a plexiglass dagger!About twenty hours of work went into making this 14" beast. Three layers of plexiglass were cut, sanded, glued, filed, sanded some more and painted during my time with them. I cut apart an old belt for the handle.

Original design found here: [link] by [link] I was going to deviate from it and smash some other things into it, but I couldn't peel away from it's pure beauty.
And I was asked if I would sell this or others, and my response was: For 20 hours of work, it wouldn't pay for me to sell one under $100, and you can get the real deal on ebay for half that.

Well it will be one of my characters "stelth" wpeons when he is in "stelth mode". This dagger seems to be sharp enough to kill quickly... heehee

You're not the only one who doesn't know much about Acrylic glass. It's actually a type of plastic, and the clear form is used in place of glass for some things like windows and aquariums. It's relatively strong, light and cheap, but it can be brittle. You can pick it up in sheets of various thicknesses at any hardware store. More information --> [link]

Make sure you have a Dremel rotary tool handy if you don't feel like filing dust for days. It goes a lot faster when you have a motor doing all the work.
