So this isn't the most important tutorial, but I though you might like to see it anyway. Plus you get some bonus patterns from me.

I'm having some trouble getting my seams to line up. Is it better to hand sew these?

i don't understand where in the templates it says nose cut 1 but it's only about half the normal length

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

clearkid In reply to Huntanator88 [2010-06-12 18:48:28 +0000 UTC]

Yes, it's exactly half. On the end labeled fold you have to flip the pattern over and trace around that too. The fold line is the center of the piece and you don't cut there.

KekipiChaotic [2009-03-24 00:16:10 +0000 UTC]

I have a simple question :]

Where do you get your fabric/what is the best place [in your opinion] to get fabrics? ^-^

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

clearkid In reply to KekipiChaotic [2009-03-24 01:23:22 +0000 UTC]

I'm fortunate to live near Jo-Ann Superstore and they have an immense selection of fleece and other fabric. Any place that has fleece is a "best" place, and that'll vary by location. I know some Wal-Mart stores have fabric, and I also have a Hobby Lobby that has some too. Be sure to scope out any craft or quilting specialty shops near you.

KekipiChaotic In reply to clearkid [2009-03-24 01:33:25 +0000 UTC]

Thankss!! ^_^

I used to use the Wal-Mart, but theyre getting rid of the fabric section
Theres a Jo-Ann fabrics nearby though, ill start going there

The amazing thing is how many different things you can do with just a few techniques and a little know-how.

KiowaLaddie In reply to clearkid [2009-05-10 15:52:51 +0000 UTC]

you should let someone else have it.
I wasted all my money xD

But how much do you think just me buying fleece material from you? You know, to make a plushie?

Awesome! I have had so many issues putting 2 pieces of fabric together. lol. Oh, and I am using your tutorials to make some hats. Please check my gallary to see what you have taught me to make! n_n

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

clearkid In reply to Z0MB13C0W [2009-03-24 01:31:13 +0000 UTC]

It can be tricky, you first have to make sure that the pieces actually fit together and then use lots of pins. xD

You have some nice hats in your gallery. :3

Z0MB13C0W In reply to clearkid [2009-03-24 01:34:06 +0000 UTC]

Seeing as I hate using pins this might be the main issue... lol.

I promise they will get better!
