finished version:[link]inspired by hellgirl enma ai, but in a gothic lolita fashion... the gates of hell in the back with the death contract on the scythe ....maybe i should throw in a straw curse doll as well...

I noticed the scroll on the scythe, what's it for? Is it some scripture/incantation that she reads before or after she sends the assholes to their makers? Just curious.

the characters i designed are loosely inspired by the anime hellgirl, the scroll is for when a person enters into a contract with the hellgirl to send someone who has done him wrong to hell but the catch is that person will surely go to hell after his/her death.

I thought it was for something else. I also used to watch that show, usually it's the old man that does the killing, if not mistaken, it's Jigoku Shouju on animax. What about the monk kinda guy in the back?

yep thats the show, the monk guy is just a rough layout, ill add more braids and more torn flesh to him.

love it . . . it is really hard to critique someones work that is better than your owe but if you would like an honest straight up fresh eye. . . .
the cyclops monsters head posture is off and i personally think that his jaw bone is too promenant and i personally would love to see some blood on the wolf and possibly the chain . . .maybe as if it flowing down from his mouth
but like i said your work is much better than mine i just know sometimes when you look at something for a long time you need a fresh eye and like always i love your work will be looking forward to an update on this one

i totally get what youre saying, even top artists sometimes miss something in their art that others can spot, im planning on lessining the blood on the girls hand and i can add the blood on the wolfs mouth as you requested, ill also do something bout that jaw. thanks!

You could give a hint of a really dark sky, but have the moon breaking it with its light... dunno

Ummm... well, since they are INSIDE Hell, you could make the sky very dark and illuminate the characters... say, with the reflection of the flames.
The place of the Moon woul be occupied either with clouds or with a demon
