wow, that's one very good looking Van Fanel. The series was one of my favourite, and retty much the one that drew me to japanese animation and then mangas... But I have to say I always prefered the Van from the movie...

Yes he does. A lot of the other cahracters I like the series version of. I love Hitomi's school uniform a ton better in the movie then the series. Is it just me or does Merla (the cat) look better in the series? She seems to needed in the movie to me. Forgive me, I can't seem to how to spell her name. I blame it on the lack of sleep.

yeah he is^^ and yes you should, escaflowne is one of those timeless anime's that's unforgettable, a strange mix of romance, mecha action with a storyline delving in the subjects of destiny and being able to manipulate it's course, awesome^^
