Works for me too. I have an octopus character, but his origin is that he's the avatar for the totem of the Pacific Northwest Tree Octopus (which I sadly discovered was not real).

I intend to re-do him. I haven't drawn him in forever, and I intend to give him a beak this time, and tame his tentacle hair back into something akin to cornrows.

well, the tentacles won't be wound into cornrows, but they'd look like that.. a bit.
