Description Finally bought a new camera and invested some time into trying to really figure out the camera and its functions. Just trying to see how things will work and how they'll look. Seems to look really good but who knows. Lots of details are visible that could never be seen before in my blurry previous works. Figure I'll upload all the kits I've done this last year over the next few days but this is the start. Just tell me what looks right with the photo or the kit (minus the dust, of course) and I'll adapt as best I can.

Reality is that's just all the chest vent appears, a thin yellow piece of plastic, airbrushed and put a little soot to make it look like shit was being sucked in. I think I was getting pissed off at this point with all the chaos going on with the forced move, the kit constantly self-destructing, the repainting of the replacement parts (just barely had enough of the custom paint left over to finish it up) that I'm surprised I didn't put gunpowder inside it and blow the son of a bitch to hell. Probably should have tried a different color besides yellow. Just too bright compared to the darker colors of the main torso. If nothing else it's proof that rage and fine detailing don't go together well.

yeah the impreza turned out like that, I call it a "fuck it" kit. For when you don't give a shit anymore.

What do you think is the part of the intakes that needed to most work?

I really think this kit should have been a MG kit because it needed a lot of little work that 1/144 just can't handle. It wanted to be a detail hog but just lacked that something that would take it there. Now it just looks barren in some place (before decals concealed those spots) and cluttered in others (like the 'nose piece' next to the intakes) with a lot of little, almost microscopic color in some places that gets lost in the whole clusterfuck.

And Fire. Everything requires large amounts of fire.
