Description And here's the transformed Zeta Gundam. I hope Bandai uses this formula for future transformable kits (which are a pain in the ass to assemble anyways) of having a base to take parts off the main kit to assemble the transformed version. Allows for more poses in MS mode versus the rigidity of kits like the Bawoo or HG ZZ Gundam. I thought about posing this kit with the Hyper Beam Cannon (or whatever the fuck it's called) but the weight issue made me think twice. Plus, I like the less cumbersome beam rifle. Decals are from the MG Zeta Gundam ver. 2.0 waterslides. They work perfect with the HGUC. In fact, they're the same size as the waterslides released by Bandai specifically for HGUC. I have so many now, I think I'll use them on a few other kits that have no aftermarket decals (in tandem with some of my own customized). Yeah, time is short so if you want to find the colors or what not, just go here [link] for the Wave Rider mode and my other thoughts. Damn, I'm in a hurry today.

I should invest in the RG version since I stripped this down to reuse into the FA Zeta I built.

I bought this thing TWICE in Asia. Putting this together, put me under a lot of stress.

Transformable kits like this are a pain in the ass with all the pre-planning for how to balance paint and assembly. The second time was a bit more fun since I didn't have to think about how it would look in waverider mode thanks to the armor upgrades. As far as kits go it was a very nice finished product but a nightmare to get there. I'd still love to slam another one together or a Zeta Plus in HGUC size (please, Bandai?).

How were you able to put it together and transform it so easily?

A lot of the time it had to do with if I made the error of allowing paint to get on the moving joints. If I did that... well, it would stay in one form. I wish I could say building it was easy. It's actually very time and patience consuming. I often would build a second kit simultaneously so I wouldn't throw the Zeta into the wall during the taping marathon.

Hmm. Might just mean the joints are a bit too snug. It happens. I use one of my old hobby knives with a dulled edge to slip under the parts I need to separate to assist in the transformations. Just need to be careful to not pry too hard or it might slice the peg or cut yourself.

Looks awesome, Zeta Gundam's one of my favorite designs.

I like the design. I'm hoping they decide to release more Zeta variants in HGUC (come on Zeta Plus!).

LOVE THAT STAND! I'm gonna get a Ver.2 stand like that soon. Marvelous work on Zeta!

Yeah, I've only assembled one of my three stands I bought almost half a year ago. I want to paint the stands up and what not but forget to put the time in to do that. Short term memory and the likes. I need to get the Char customized stands for all my Char kits, I'm just not looking forward to drilling into my Z'Gok Command Type to sit it. Plus that damn arm still needs fixed. I just wish the reason I bought the kits (for my S-Gundams and the ZZ Gundam) would work but their hips are too thick. Do they make MG stands like these? I think those might be the ticket for my HGUC Sentinel kits.

Yes! The Ver.1 stand is better for MG. It is available at gundamstoreandmore.com

Hope it works good for the wide bases of the HGUC Sentinel kits. Their chicken legs need it.
