Alright, I know you knew this was coming. To be clear: this is not final. The model is HIGHLY incomplete. I went about animating the model as easily as I possibly could, with only two things I wanted to accomplish: I wanted the style of the sinking to be closer than the last animation I have up (which was six years ago, by the way) to reality, and I wanted the ship to break up. Other than that it is a VERY simplistic animation.

And yes, I have more to do, and I am doing it. Hence the images of lifeboats and their davits, and soon there will be a render of one of the cargo cranes, as well. Progress is being made, it's just not directly on Titanic, and, well, I kind of got bored. And I had a model of Titanic sitting around. So of course I sank it.

Oh, and this render is actually me toying with the idea of the ship breaking into three or four separate pieces. This isn't in the animation, but I was curious if my model was decent enough to allow it. Anyway, I don't intend to animate this again until I have (at the very least) the cranes and lifeboats on the ship. I hope to add anchors, capstans, bollards, and the cargo hatches, as well.
