Description One of my favorite books as a kid was "The Woman Who Loved Reindeer" by Meredith Ann Pierce, and even though I hardly remember it now, I decided to be nostalgic and draw what I imagined one of the characters, a golden caribou, looked like. I got lazy with the fog in the hills in this and decided to make it stylized, I hope it isn't too distracting. Forgive the anatomy mistakes too, I'm not too accustomed to drawing anything in the cervine family.XD

I love how mysterious he looks, and the swirly fog!
Also, "The Woman Who Loved Reindeer" is such a great book

Ahh, good to know someone else has read it! None of my friends knew it.xD And thanks, I was worried the swirly fog was too cheesy, haha.

I just adore the colors! *.* How the gold stands out from the green hill and the red flowers on the ground - gorgeous. <3

It really did. ^^ Maybe it would've been more effective if there weren't any yellow flowers but I aint complaining. : P
