Actually...I hate to tell you this. But he won't grow his tail back. ^^'' Crested geckos don't regenerate their tails. So I'm sorry to say you are stuck with a frog-butt. I was so sad when my Super Dalmatian Crestie lost her tail. Ugh. She flung it across her cage during a thunderstorm.

Trust me when I say they don't. I have 24 and am friends with several breeders..and know several tailless Cresties./ :{ I wish they did, since they are soooo much cuter, but no. Interesting fact: Nearly all cresties in the wild are tailless. They also have one of the most prehensile tails, possibly why they don't grow it back. It's more like a fifth arm than a tail.

And lastly, but not leastly...please tell me they didn't tell you to just feed it babyfood or crickets? Cause if you do that chances are it will develope MBD.
