I'm getting second thoughts of joining since I have better things to focus on, but I love comic making. This and my audition was done around a month ago-- I have this paranoia that people will take ideas but really, I shouldn't and I have things in store. I'll be posting it tomorrow.

Mind Moves Matter is just a convenient name (for me) to call the ability, not a name Ben coined. He does not disclose the ability to anyone and only uses it in emergencies or when no one is around. At times, he’ll use plants to transfer mundane scratches and bruises. The intensity and transfer of the pain from one person to the other is equivalent, so a bullet wound in Ben’s leg will feel equally painful to the victim, be a human, plant, demon, etc and vice versa. For the second aspect of the ability, the sensations can be anything limited to Ben’s imagination or personal experiences, so any pain, feelings or even pleasure Ben can recall or concoct.

Ben’s pain threshold is slightly above a normal person, and he can only use the ability a few times a day before exhausting himself. However, bigger feats like absorbing/repel massive injuries or death (hah, he can’t repel that) will knock him out or bring him to near fainting afterward. He can heal clean cuts much easier than messier wounds (e.g. shattered bones or ravaged flesh), so smaller and cleaner the injury is, the faster the healing process is, from seconds to nearly instantaneous, but there is always injuries that are beyond repair if you can imagine. Illnesses, poisons or similar remote damage are more difficult for Ben to reject, but possible with enough willpower. Lastly, there’s a time limit to when he can heal wounds, once it has started healing naturally, he can only heal up the remaining injury (potentially leaving a natural scar), but for a fresh wound, Ben’s healing leaves no marking. Usually after a day, Ben can’t fully heal a wound. M3 only works on living tissue.

MOTIVE+
Money, he needs a job to get back to school, and some extra dough for a better apartment and maybe get a pet cat and dog. Oh, a car too I guess (and maybe a girlfriend).

MORALS/PERSONALITY+
Ben can be quite cold-hearted once he’s acquainted with someone: he doesn’t help people unless there’s something to gain from them (he’s not blunt about) and at times talks very vaguely. He’ll never use his ability (i.e. healing) on anyone else unless his own life depended on it. Also, he has trusting issues: he can keep up a cool or happy face, but deep inside he’s paranoid if he’s going to make the right decision or not. When he’s in panic mode, morals means little to him, he’ll do what’s necessary to survive with little hesitation. He has this odd fear of getting things in his eyes, especially moths/butterflies-- not the insects themselves, but the idea of getting the wing scales/powder into his eyes.
