The angle from which these shots were taken is quite dynamic. The colors are incredibly vivid: the red against the blue. I like the way the light is hitting the petals, making them slightly translucent and creating some interesting shadows. The way the background flowers fade out of focus is a nice touch.
I'm not too fond of the dual layout, though. The pictures, due to their different sizes, seem to be competing with each other. I think the piece would be more effective if either a) they were the same size or b) the larger one is faded slightly. Just to provide some equality.

The colours work well together, but the picture quality isn't very good until you fullview it and then it's too big.
