I had the chance to visit the lost city of Machu Picchu in Peru last year and wanted to share a pic. It was truly a breathtaking site in person and justly deserved to be named one of the new Seven Wonders of the World.This image has been submitted as stock so feel free to use it in your commercial and non-commercial projects without requesting permission. I do not however grant you the permission to distribute or sell the image itself without my written consent.
Do be aware that this image was three images my camera stitched together and there is some bluriness where it is blended.

So cool! I had the chance to go there in 2007, right after it was voted one of the new seven wonders. There was a public transportation workers' strike at the time, so there was hardly anybody there at all!
I love how the mountains make the shape of a face in the background. Did you get to climb the nose as well? (Wayna Picchu)

No, unfortunately I didn't have time to climb Wayna Picchu as I had to catch a bus but I still had several hours there and was really glad to find that they let you walk almost anywhere.

Yes, feel free to use it for your stamp. I really enjoyed Peru, wish I had had more time to spend there but it was a good trip and Machu Picchu was amazing.

I hiked for several days in the region but took the bus up to the site itself.

is it hard to walk by? how much money you need for the trip?, great shot

The plane tickets down there was 40% of the overall cost. I chose to go with a G Adventures travel company and their Inca Discovery trip. It was nice not having to work out room accommodations, eating locations, bus tickets etc.
