A raven at daytime, I could call this! Such vibrant colors, and I love the details that are perfectly taken care of! You, my friend, may have attempted this several times, and this is one stunning image you have here!
I like the hint of warm colors on the feathers and the background; it keeps the photo alive and helps contrast the cool colors a little bit. The eyes are amazing as well, for that they are almost saying, "I'm staring into your soul." I'm not trying to sound creepy, but that's just what they read to me. This is amazing! Great job, and keep it up!

I love grackles too! I visited the YucatΓ‘n peninsula years ago, and the boat-tailed grackles would practically strut around my feet looking for handouts! Definitely birds with attitude.

I am a bird lover but these birds annoy the heck out of me my friend!!!Β They bombard my yard, all hundreds of them. shoo away all the other birds and eat up all the feeders.Β I shoo them away after letting them eat for awhile and back they come.Β No, I don't like them!!!!!!lol
