Description
What is it with black and white squares that entice me so? Perhaps I should make a folder of my favorite ones and see what it tells me. No doubt Pearwood has an idea, but he (Steven) is a film addict, and I don't have that excuse. Anyway, this is my latest. A lucky bit of cloud in this one, taken on the Guadalupe river, in the hill country of Texas.Related content

Heh. I often cropped square even when I was shooting digital rectangles (I rarely do so with film rectangles; doesn't seem right.)
Squares help us look at things differently, perhaps. The certainly change the way one looks at a scene through the viewfinder or on the TLR screen.

I think that squares are somehow more restful to the mind, perhaps due to the use of architectural tiles.
