Description I hope this is an improvement over the original upload. FYI, it has been sharpened for fine printing on matt paper, my target image being the 16"x16" fine art print that DA makes. They do a very good job, and I usually wait until they run a sale, and buy my prints from them that I hang in the gallery and around. OK for that, and now back to Herself. In the additional post-processing, I was looking at it as my granddaughter Maya might, when I try to teach her to say the word, "cheetah" for the first time. So, yes, the lens is that of the Old Man, before he picks up the child. And that is the reality of stories told around the fire.

I use dA prints for all my shows and displays.  It's a bit bright here, but toned down a bit by the matte paper it should be excellent.

We finally got to meet our four-year-old foster-soon-to-be-adopted grandson for the first time this week.

It still is.  They're her through tomorrow afternoon.  They came up for my dad's memorial service on Thursday.  It's been rather a tumble of emotions.  I'll eventually post my remembrance here.

Such are hard times. No way around it. I'll keep you in my heart.

And when the situation has its share of ugliness, generally the only way around is through.
