I like it, But setsuko was so bright and joyful in her misery, she only started to wane in the End. You should've made something happy that represent her character more.

I saw this movie ten years ago with my mom. At the end we were both in tearsΒ I just wanted to shake my fist and say "YOU HAVE BLOOD ON YOUR HANDS, HARRY TRUMAN!!!" A really heart wrenching movie!

The-Necromancer did fine watching that movie. Or at least he did up until things got really heavy with this character. The-Necromancer is not afraid to admit it: He blubbered like a baby during the last Β fifteen or so minutes of that film.
Damn, talk about something that hits right in the heart. The-Necromancer hadn't cried during a film like that since watching things like Schindler's List...
As for the artwork you've made: Very lovely, yet it Setsuko's teary captures the essence of the entire film.

I almost cried after I watched this. I only started to watch this movie because I love the anime kind of movies, and also the Ghibli movies, just plain love those. **SPOILER: I'M SO SAD THE LITTLE GIRL DIED!! TT^TT** Is there any good Ghibli movies that you could suggest for me? If not that's okay!

About the picture:
Whoa! I really love this, really I do. I love how you used the appropriate colors for the background and for the girl. I could see some of the dirt on her face, since she did live outside. I love everything about this picture. Even her eyes were just brilliant. The one thing I'd say is that... [sorry for saying this btw] her expression doesn't really match her tears. I mean, I know that the picture is supposed to resemble her sadness. But I don't think her face really shows it.
Other then that though, I like the rest of it ^^ I hope you continue to do your best in your art~ I hope you liked the little critique. I didn't make it like one of the "official critiques" because I thought it was kind of small for a good critique. Anyway, hope you like this small critique.
