Description See! i do other things besides make steampunk jewelry.
This was taken in an area that wasn't open to the public. Or anyone really. I have a bad habit of exploring places where I shouldn't go.

Anyway, this was taken with my beloved Canon G6. I've used a "split tone" here - thus the strange color cast and tone. On top there is a fine grain to emulate what would have been grain on my old film camera.

love the pipes. Wood is a lovely texture.

So much texture. So much color and value contrast. The lines are enjoyable as well.

I have a tendency to wander along a nearby train track with me mate and hang about at the abandoned station (which is the highlight of my hometown TT.TT)) I've always wanted to explore an abandoned hospital, like Foxborough or someplace like that. I would have loved to have gone to Danvers, up in Massachusetts, but it was sadly torn down. FOR APARTMENT BUILDINGS. WTF WTF WTF. A MARVELOUS GOTHIC BUILDING, FULL OF HISTORY, TORN DOWN FOR BORING-ASS APARTMENT BUILDINGS!! ((Foams at the mouth and falls over))

Oh thats terrible! i was at an abandoned convent here... but the Toronto Brickworks is definitely my favorite hang out spot. Whenever you go in there there are people hanging out. Its #1 for a reason. I'll dig up some more photos and post eventually.

I know D: My state has about... two really good sites, and one I've never been to, I just know it from heresay, and the other I've driven by once but never stopped. New England has all the good places, lucky bums.
