This piece took a heck of a while to make. lol... mostly because i couldn't find a base (movement) that fit the pocket watch tightly. So i took a larger one and filed it down. that took a heck of a time.

The "Pocket Sculpture" could be worn as some steampunk jewelry but there is no glass to protect it. I'm going to be doing something similar with some pocketwatches with new "glass" in them. That will make them more wearable. Still, I'm sure if the person is careful they won't have any issues. There's a lot of fine detail in the pocketwatch - little stars, the intricate engraving on the gold pieces, little hands that can be moved by careful fingers and hand tinted gears.
i love things that move or can be moved. makes me happy.
