Description
The basic character design for Mr. Croach. He uses that shovel to dig things up. He's a gifted scientist, particularly in the field of bio-steam-grafting, but he hates children and can't bear to touch them.Pen+ink, Photoshop halftones.

I prefer this design over the newer ones, no offense. The newer one looks like a zombie-wolverine, which is not how I pictured him. didn't really match his personality either.

Croach always ends up having a Scottish accent when I read Hollow Fields to my friends and family. (I'm the official 'Outloud Manga Reader' of our group, it seems.)

I am sorry if this offends you but i am one of those squirrels... who are nuts. I really love Mister Croach Jr. He is the cutest character in my book. He is handsome and angry but i have to say i find that cute. I love his hair, the beard, everything. I can't help it. Its just... cute. He is my favorite. Sorry. I would love to have a drawing of him, well, being him. Keep up the good work, I am now yours and Mister Croach's Fan.

Since I have read the first manga was Mr. Croach my absolute favorite of the characters and his class, I soo loved it it was brilliant, you know that your work is starting to tempt my brain to write a five fanfictions to the story? Saddly I'm not that skilled in drawing so I write most of the time...

I love all Hollow Fields characters, but Croach has always been a personal favorite. :3 I drooled over my friends shoulder every time she turned to a page with him on it as she read. He's just...SO angry. I dont know why, but to me he just is lovable.

Woo, Mister Croach! I've only read the first manga, and he's already my favourite character! My friend has drawn quite a bit of fanart of him (one with him being shirtless. Don't know how she managed that, without ever seeing it, but it was yummy

hehehe..... i would (if i had owned a special weilding shovel of unnatural purposes) name it franky (short for the frankestien) and hang a soured gummy worm in the middle of a hallway ..... prefferably infront of the science teacher's room there.. to show off meh awsome skills - and then ..... when a squiggly lil monkey kid went for it .............................................. well anywho.. it seemed funnier in my brain when imagining it being like as in a zim episode > .>
