Nadeko Sengoku, a character that I like despite not actually watching much of (or liking) the Monogatari series. I dunno, I just felt like drawing something I guess since I haven't done so in awhileRelated content

I only just realised her character recently. She dislikes wearing fashionable things and having her bangs down because it keeps attention away from her.
She doesn't want to cause anybody trouble and is polite.
Anywho, this is fairly great piece of work. I'm sad you don't update that frequently but ah well, not everybody's time is as free as mine.

I think I herd of Monogatari series, but I didn't get a chance to watch it. I'll check it out someday. Anyway, great drawing of Nadeko, and I'm so glad your back on here.

Ive been watching monogatari series alot and ive been enjoying it, why dont you like it that much? (Still Oshino Shinobu FTW)

I guess it just doesn't hold my attention very well, I dunno. I find there's a hell of a lot of talking which, don't get me wrong, I really like in shows and movies, but I guess I find it drones on a bit much? There are definitely a lot of things I like about the series though, the art style and animation for one. It's a really visually pretty show to watch and I'll definitely give it that, and all things considered it's very well directed as well. I guess I just find it a bit of a chore to watch when a lot of the episodes are just dedicated to characters standing around and talking in that classic anime kind of way where they sort of speak half literally and half allegorically that just gets a little tedious to watch, in my opinion? Nnnnnot to mention the giant amounts of fan-service gets to be a bit much. That being said, along with Nadeko I find myself a fan of a lot of the characters in the show itself?? Their designs are really cute and memorable and I love the mishmash of personalities each of them have, especially in interaction with Koyomi. I feel like it has all the right ingredients for being a show I'd enjoy but they're just not quite put together the right way, if that makes any sense.

i can agree with you in many ways, and in the fact that you like the characters more is indeed a thing, the animes takes its characters very seriously, and really just makes them unique in a way, its a reason why i like Oshino.
