Description
So because of an unexpected hard drive death I had to completely reformat my computer over the weekend. I wanted to test if my scanner worked so I doodled a little something that turned into this picture!The character is a "liger", because it is sort of a random present for ! She is wearing steampunk goggles and is playing with little mechanical bugs of some sort, it looks like.
Umm, yeah, that's about it. Still trying to figure out this whole shading and lighting thingy.

Aah I am struggling with shading too! I'm going back to basics with my drawing at the moment, trying to do pencil sketches from life in the hope that if I copy real lighting, I might go "click" and understand it! Still no luck so far though
But yay it's a liger! I love the lil bugs too! At first I thought they were fireflies (for some reason) but, on second thoughts, I don't actually know what fireflies look like when un-glowy... o_O
