Description True story.

There's a lot of people out there who are like "Bawwwww, no one comments on my stuff!" or "You have to comment on before you fave!"

Some of these people want legitimate critique.

Most of them just want you to tell them how awesome they are and shower them with mindless compliments.

So no, you don't really want comments. You just want the compliments.

As much as I love comments, I do agree with this. No one should make a fuss about no one commenting on their stuff. It's not the end of the world.

LOL... because telling someone that they suck and should drink bleach is "legitimate critique", right?

Nope, I want an opinion, whatever it will be.

I agree with this, only replacing "comments"'with "critiques".

I am the sort of person who prefers comments over faves, but I do NOT appreciate one-word comments or comments saying "WOW THIS IS SOOO PERFECT1111!!"

I accept in-depth, well-written critiques that ALSO point out my flaws as well.

I personally don't like it when comments come in the form of complete compliments. I'd rather have 'I like where this story is going/ or the idea is interesting." Than 'OMG your awesome' :/ I agree with not wanting mindless compliments XD

No. I want any response, as opposed to some tard who leaves a shitton of faves and doesnt say anything. Think about it this way, it's like going to an art gallery, buying 20 prints of the work at the gift shop, and walking straight past the artist without talking to him/her.

I like honest critique, I like comments that tell me exactly what sucks in my drawing so I can fix it next time.

I hate getting comments like "cool" "awesome pic"

If someone would say, "i like this, but the nose like like an eggplant" or just simply, "the nose looks like an eggplant" it would be better that "cool"

sorry about the mini-rant.

I agree with the stamp.

I wouldn't mind a little of both.

Both are good. It's only annoying when people demand comments when all they really want are compliments though.

Yeah, I will admit to complaining about wanting more comments sometimes, but I really would just like comments...crits or compliments or otherwise.

I want critique but all I get are complements

I can try to give you some critique if you'd like. I normally don't because a lot of people get pissed at you when you do critique them.

That's what the "Critique Desired" is for. even if people don't want to go all out and use that particular format, which i completely understand, I still hope for critiques in the comments.

Thanks for your offer!
