Markings: red markings on face are burn scars not actual markings, Inside of front legs have triangle pattern, white markings stay the same on both sides except for the face, black and red markings switch on his right side, you can see the other side of his face here: [link]

Discipline: Halter trained? he really likes to learn, his mind just wanders off a lot and most days he wants to be left alone in the barn, few circus acts

Passible Traits: records say he has bred with only two mares (Artificial Insemination) and both mares had black twins, but the four foals died because lack of sunlight, nutrition, the mares were then sold to slaughter because the people thought they were bad mares Anywho, there's probably a good chance his offspring will be twins and both be black unless the mare's coloring is a stronger gene

History:
Skhisein Feste is one of the 13 horses that came to us after being rescued from a deranged circus where they were being tortured in front of crowds etc... He came with some records which is how we know he's related to Al Hattal and how he got his scars and why the tips of his ears had been ripped off. Like when we found Spook, all of their feet were chained together, which leads us to believe that Spook was also in this place but escaped. All 13 of them had wounds of some sort, mental or physical. In Skitzos case his red facial markings are actually burns that was branded in his face. When he came to the stables he'd never stepped on gravel or grass, he'd never even seen the sun. The horses had been chained up in tiny tiny stalls and hardly/never been taken out so all of their legs are stiff and crack when they walk, few of them had even looked at their mothers before getting ripped away. Skitzo had spent 3 years of his life not being able to move and he was the only one kept away from the others.. the only interaction he had, beside the horrific spotlight, was himself which is where the split personality came from.

Personalty:
Feste stays in the dark, he's been here for 2 years but his eyes still cant stand the sunlight for too long. He doesn't really associate with the other horses, he talks to Till from time to time but hes very shy and prefers to stick to him and himself. He likes to stare at others, he doesn't realize that it creeps them out he's just not used to seeing things like foals playing... hes actually not used to seeing anything at all besides bars and darkness. He can be naughty when he has his days but most of the time he does what he's told. He is one of the smartest horses on this ranch, but doesn't act like it because he likes to test people, almost like its a game to him. An experienced handler is needed. When he gets scared he doesn't neigh, he screams and it scares most inexperienced handlers. He usually just needs someone to calm him down, or if he's really freaking out he likes being put into a dark stall with a music box, its what we do and it works very well in calming him down. Other then that he's very sweet, he likes to stand and listen just to be with you. For example he will follow you anywhere when he dosent want to be alone, he'll follow you into the house if you dont tell him to stay outside lol

Loves:
Carmel covered apples with rainbow sprinkles, sneaking up on people, talking to him and himself, the dark, testing people, games like hide n seek, being alone as well as being with people and listening to them talk, music boxes

Hates:
Solitary confinement, being pushed into things, being tied up, Mares, small animals (like small dogs) being alone for too long, His reflection (he will throw a FIT if he sees it), Carmel covered apples with no sprinkles

Whatever you do, DO NOT:
let him around kids, let him around small animals (like rabbits or smaller dogs, he will kill them) turn him out during real sunny weather, kick him or use a whip or spurs on him while riding (he dosent need either), use harness and ropes on him (he is just fine with a halter but prefers just a rope around the neck to lead him), yell at him (with anger), try to cut his hair, make sudden movements, bleed in front of him (smell of blood drives him mad), and most of all DO NOT let him see his reflection... he wont be calm again for days if he does..
