This is cool! You two make a good team. One thing I would say is the overall thing looks like a median filter was passed over the completed colour - just a couple of hits of sharpness would really fill out the dynamic range (or some other bullshit term for hard-soft) if you know what I mean. Do you?
Where it works the best is at the hair and hands I think.

You changed it a lot but it's still recognisable. I immediatly went "Hey, it's cluedog's page" The colouring fits perfectly!

Chad,
I'm not mad at you, I'm delirious with joy! It is utterly fantastic! You took my drawing and transcended to it to the next level (make that several levels). The alterations you made were spot on (I agree that her nose was crooked but you fixed that).
This drawing is a sheer work of beauty.
The little girl looks great. I like how her hair stands out from the dark background (such a lovely shade of white, and the strands are subtle and believable) and the sun glares off the window. I love how you rendered the anime character on her shirt as an actual part of her clothing.
My favorite part of this whole piece, however, is the top panel. You did an absolutely marvelous job coloring the city. The way the shadows drop, the glint of light on the window and walls...it all has that early morning look and is real. Stellar background.
Thank you for this wonderful drawing. It is truly amazing, and it was an honor for you to color my drawing.

Well I just feel a little bad changing it so much. I adjusted the nose, and straightened the teeth, made her a little happier and fixed the upper right part of her hair as I thought it was a bit lopsided... I dunno I usually stick closer to the original is all and I really respect Cluedog. I just don't want to offend em, I'm painting this not only to practice but to do something nice for him.
