A short lil' comic I made recently while thinking about what sorta courtship rituals their species might partake in, and coming up with the headcanon that Burter's species prefers impressive speed, using it in a "game of chase" to capture their chosen mate--whom perceives the other with worthiness for catching them in turn. While Jeice's species is more about looks, like show-offy male birds, trying to out do the other to catch the eyes of a possible mate. This idea is even more precious, however, if you think about the fact if this is the case, Jeice picking Burter despite him not being the atypical attractiveness in their species standards, just warms my heart even more for the two. X3
