While I was drawing up the Taco Valentine comic, I ended up watching Reverse Cowgirl, the episode where Clyde kept getting yelled at by his mother for leaving the toilet seat up, and then ending up being the reason why his mother dies... And, well, I noticed how nice Kyle was being towards Clyde, moreso verbally then physically, but still... And it made me draw THIS.Poor Clyde. D=

In that episode I hated Clyde's mother, yes it's annoying when boys leave the toilet seat up sometimes but Betsy could have just put the toilet seat down instead of going psycho on Clyde for something minor. To me Besty should have looked before sitting, and I'm glad John Harrington told off everyone in the end, and Clyde gets over his mother and flips her off for all the crap she put him through because she was melodramatic over a toilet seat.

I agree with disliking Betsy, however there is a thing called toilet etiquette to uphold within your domain. This is always different, depending on how many people you're living with, what their genders are, and what ground rules they lay down as the law of living there. My own mother has a habit of telling us to completely put the LID down when you flush, to help prevent bacteria from going airborne as easily, compared to letting the lid remain up and exposed. While at my grandma's place, there are two bathrooms in the house--one that is mainly grandma's(that I use as well), and the other is used as both the guest bathroom, but is mainly my uncle's. Because there are two, and only girls use grandma's, its common decency to leave the seat down.
Another case is if you have young children, especially girls. They never look, or move before noticing if the seat is up or down. Hell, I've fallen in before as a child, because #1, I was young, and #2, I was used to it just being mum and I, so when a male figure entered our home, I wasn't prepared for that sort of incident. And it happened again, when I had to take a night trip, so the reason behind that was being I was still waking up.
Point is, Betsy overreacted by a butt load. So no excuse there. But being intolerant to other people's wishes to keep the seat down, is another thing all together. ESPECIALLY if its their house your staying in. XD

Ah those reasons I understand. Of course with Betsy she freaked out not because of the reasons you have like bacteria spreading or there are young girls in her household who aren't capable of looking before sitting, but for the fact that she keeps saying she'll fall in when she is a grown woman with two eyes and can put the seat down on her own.
And I'm willing to bet his dad was the one who was putting the toilet seats up and was letting Clyde take the blame so he wouldn't suffer his wife's wrath, and when Betsy died on the toilet.

Is it odd that when you said "let me die in your shippings," I thought of you falling into a pile of my paper with all the doodles on it, and dying there? XD
