I know what you mean. I'm happy and proud that Twilight was able to become an alicorn, but sometimes I think back to the old days, the first episodes when she first arrived in Ponyville, just a simple unicorn that'd never even saved the world - Celestia's personal student and protΓ©gΓ©, granted, but not yet one of the defining ponies of her time, destined to be one of the most important magic users of her generation, if not the entire century.
